Master the technique of creating a vertical veiling brim, using widow veiling finished off with a cute leather button centre.
In this class, you'll learn to prepare the edge, various invisible ways to secure the rigid circle veil, innovative ways on how to work on the veiling to create a tight and neat brim and finally block and work with leather to create a stunning centre peace to the veil.
This class is ideal for Beginner Hat Makers, Intermediate Hat Makers, Advanced Hat Makers,Hat Wearers, Hat Buyers and all Adult
Students have the option to make this into a two day class (by booking on to the next day Leather Crown/Halo class) and finish the piece with leather roses on the following day. Plus you will have the added bonus of seeing students create their rose crowns!
Materials can be pre ordered £25 or a list can be provided. Students will need a button block to make the headpiece for the centre.
Specific specialist materials need will be communicated upon booking on the course
With an initial £50 non-refundable deposit, you can secure your space on this £150 one day of Masterclass teaching!

Create a stunning cluster of leather roses and leaves on a handmade wire alice band intricately put together as a beautiful crown while also learning how to make full veiling.
On this one day class you will learn how to prep leather and hand tool to create a cascade of leather roses and leaves intricately put together as a crown and learning how to make full veiling.
You will be shown the best leather to use and how to wire, attach to your hand made alice band and finish off with a fabulous veil.
